Well, I guess Kansas’ defense is as good as advertised. The Jayhawks dominated Baylor on Saturday on its way to a 13-point win. That win ended Baylor’s perfect season, and it gives Kansas all kinds of confidence with one regular-season game to play before the Big 12 tournament.
So has your opinion changed about how far the Jayhawks can go in March? The defense is fantastic right now. I think they could actually reach the Elite Eight if they play well. Could they reach the Final Four? With that defense, yes, but I think it’s doubtful. I’m still leaning towards Kansas not being able to score enough to win somewhere in the first three games.

Today’s position player starters will get two at bats and at least three innings in the field.
Jorge Soler will start in right field in today’s game. He will normally be the designated hitter, but Soler is looking to improve his defense.
Jackson Kowar will start Monday’s game and Jakob Junis will start Tuesday’s game.
The Royals are reportedly in serious talks with Hunter Dozier on a long-term contract.
