It’s a big day for Kansas and Missouri. Both teams need a win in a bad way but for different reasons.
Kansas is a 2 1/2 point favorite at home against Texas Tech. Kansas has won four games in a row but three of those games were against Kansas State or Iowa State who have combined for just one conference win. Is Kansas’ recent win streak for real or is it a product of who they have played? With two games after this one at Texas and home against Baylor, Kansas needs to get off on a good foot.
Missouri is trying to break a season-high three-game losing streak. Oddly enough, their last win was against conference leader Alabama. That was Alabama’s only loss so far this conference season. Now, Missouri is a 3 1/2 point favorite at South Carolina. A win potentially returns the Tigers to their winning ways and prevents them from falling even further in the NCAA seeding process.
Kansas State is a touchdown underdog at TCU. Don’t tell the Wildcats this isn’t a big game. They haven’t won a game in 2021. Enough said…
