The Royals offense struggled once again but we got an encouraging performance from a potential bullpen piece. Kansas State is looking for a new defensive coordinator. And if you like listening to Tony Romo on CBS you got some good news.
Here is your daily Dr. Feelgood…
The Royals’ potential bullpen got another bit of good news on Friday with Trevor Rosenthal throwing another perfect inning with two strikeouts. Rosenthal reached 99 mph on his fastball which is encouraging to see with the strikeouts and no walks. It’s still way too early to draw any conclusions, but it’s looking promising for both Rosenthal and the Royals.
Kansas State’s defensive coordinator Scottie Hazelton was named the defensive coordinator of Michigan State on Friday. Hazelton was at Kansas State for just one season. He was in the same position the previous two seasons at Wyoming.
IN THE NEWS
– Tony Romo re-signed with CBS for $17 million per season. The total contract is reportedly over $100 million. He will end up making more money broadcasting than he did playing football.

– The NCAA decided to not distribute information on its name, image, and likeness plans prior to its April meeting.
TODAY: Round two of the battle between Kansas and Kansas State takes place in Manhattan today. Kansas should have a rather easy time unless the emotion of the game helps the Wildcats play one of their better games of the season. The game is at 12:30 pm on CBS.
