Wednesday was all about the Chiefs in Kansas City. It’s been 50 years since the city celebrated a Super Bowl victory. The crowd didn’t appear to match what we saw in better weather for the Royals but it was a large crowd. Also, Pete Rose is requesting reinstatement once again.
Here is your daily Dr. Feelgood…
The Chiefs held a parade and rally on Wednesday to celebrate their Super Bowl victory with the fans of Chiefs Kingdom. The parade went primarily down Grand and ended at Union Station for a rally. The crowd didn’t appear to be as large as the rally the Royals had after their 2015 World Series, which took place in much better weather, but was large nonetheless.
Pete Rose requested reinstatement by Major League Baseball stating that since the Astros players were not punished for causing people to question the integrity of the game then he should be allowed back in. Commissioner Rob Manfred will likely deny Rose’s reinstatement but he makes a very valid point. Astros players have called the integrity of the game into question without any punishment whatsoever.

The Shockers must win this game to have any shot at winning the conference.
