The 2020 Royals Fan Fest started Friday and Salvador Perez was in a special ceremony during the event. We also learned about one injury that happened in the brawl after the game at Kansas on Tuesday as well as an arrest of a Kansas football player.

Salvador Perez became a United States citizen in a ceremony at the Royals Fan Fest Friday night.
Whit Merrifield recently said that he considers himself an All-Star in 2018 because of Jose Altuve being involved in the sign-stealing scandal in Houston. He also said that he will throw in the Silver Slugger award for that season as well.
Staff member Jeremy Case broke his arm when he fell trying to break up the brawl Tuesday. Case appeared to be trying to get between Silvio De Sousa and James Love when he lost his balance and fell and he broke his arm and knocked Love off balance and then fell down.
Les Miles suspended cornerback Corione Harris indefinitely on Thursday. Harris was arrested Sunday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon and delivery of a controlled substance.
LSU agreed with Ed Orgeron on a six-year contract extension for $7 million per year. The contract takes Orgeron through the 2026 season.
The Colorado Rockies agreed with SS Trevor Story on a two-year, $27.5 million contract. The deal buys out his final two years of arbitration.
WHAT TO WATCH
The Big 12 / SEC Challenge takes place today. The biggest game of the day is Baylor at Florida on ESPN at 7 pm. Baylor leads Kansas by a game in the Big 12. Florida is two games behind LSU in the SEC.
