The NFL handed down suspensions and fines for the fight in Thursday’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. Both teams were fined $250,000. Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns was suspended indefinitely for at least the remainder of the season. Larry Ogunjobi of the Browns was suspended for one game. Maurice Pouncey of the Steelers was suspended for three games. Each player’s suspension is without pay. Each has also been fined an undisclosed amount.
Jeff Flanagan of MLB.com reported that the Royals will not be handicapped in attempting to sign current players to long-term contracts.
