The Washington Nationals battled back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Houston Astros 6-2 in Game 7 of the World Series. The visiting team won every game of the series for the first time ever. Former Royals pitcher Zack Grienke was terrific for the Astros in this game. Former Missouri Tigers pitcher Max Scherzer started on the mound for the Nationals.
QB Patrick Mahomes practiced on Wednesday. Andy Reid did not name a starting quarterback on Wednesday.
LT Eric Fisher tried to practice but wasn’t ready yet so the team shut him down to allow him to get completely healthy.

Barry Odom said that QB Kelly Bryant feels much better now than he did after the game at Kentucky. Bryant strained his hamstring on the second possession of the game for the Tigers. He was limited in practice on Wednesday but expects to be back to full participation by the end of the week.
Barry Odom said that the team’s biggest offensive problem at Kentucky was not converting on third down. He also said that the team is not good enough to fail to score when they get in the red zone.
Joey Bosa and Nick Bosa were both included in the NFL Players of the Week.
John Elway said that the Broncos are looking to bring back Drew Lock for their Week 11 game against the Vikings.
