This game was over at the half. The loss drops the Tigers to 5-3 on the season and 2-2 in the SEC. There is no other way to put it. This was a bad loss. But after the loss at Vanderbilt maybe this is what this team is at this point. Missouri needs another win to be bowl eligible and with a home game with Arkansas that looks like a lock but if they keep playing like this the NCAA decision might be moot.
Room for Improvement:
TE Albert O. struggled in this game and did not have a single reception.
QB Kelly Bryant was just 10-for-19 passing for 130 yards and one touchdown. He had just eight rushes for -4 yards. In his defense he appeared to pull a hamstring on the second drive o the field so maybe that can account for struggling in this game.
The Missouri defense allowed 296 yards rushing to Kentucky which is just unbelievable when they knew that Kentucky was running. Kentucky started QB/WR Lynn Bowden at quarterback and they could not stop the Wildcats.
Missouri gets a week off enforce traveling to Georgia for what is right now looking like it could be an ugly game.
