Jorge Soler hit two home runs to give him 43 on the season. He went 4-for5 on the night. Adalberto Mondesi went 3-for-5 and hit his second home run in as many games to give him nine on the year. Bubba Starling hit his fourth home run and Ryan O’Hearn hit his 13th.
The pitching was poor as it has been often this season. Glenn Sparkman started and allowed three runs on four hits in five innings. Ian Kennedy pitched a perfect ninth for the save.
